My Philosophy
Your music should sound like you — not like everybody else who walked through the door before you.
Whether I’m producing a song from the ground up, mixing an already finished production, or putting the final polish on a master, my job starts with listening.
Not just to the audio, but to the intention behind it.
What is this record trying to communicate? What makes it distinctive? What needs to be preserved, and what is getting in the way?
I believe great audio work should strengthen an artist’s identity rather than impose someone else’s on top of it. Sometimes that means making bold creative choices. Sometimes it means getting completely out of the way and letting a great production speak for itself.
There is no single Cosmos Inspired “sound” that gets stamped onto every record.
The goal is clarity, impact, emotion and intentionality — while preserving the weird little things that make your music yours.
